I am sorry to tell you there is no surgery to keep you from using insulin. I have been diabetic for 22 years and have been using it since day one. Type one. You have diabetes don't let diabetes have you. If you monitor your sugar, take your insulin, see your dr, watch what you eat you can prevent complications. I am on the insulin pump you might want to look into that method it is alot easier then getting several needles a day. You change and put a new set in every three days. You also get insulin 24 hours a day just like your pancreas. I know when you first get diabetes it is a lot on you and you go through bouts of depression asking why me. But it is a manageable disease that you can live and survive with. |
